My mosfetamp is designed for about +/- 48V with max rating up to +/- 55V, +/- 75 volts is certainly too high for electrolytic capacitors, but also for the output Mosfets.

Hi, I have recently finished Menno's Power Amp and I have sent him some photos to add to the gallery. The assembly was straight forward and not too tricky even though I made a few mistakes. Frustratingly I haven't yet been able to use it as my old Amp (Linsey Hood Series 300) has no output from its preamp section but I am going to take the soldering iron to it to make one! I look forward to his new PreAmp project and will definitely be building it to complete my system.

I assume you mean balanced inputs? The additional needed resistors can not be directly mounted on the same pcb, but as it is only 2 components, they can be easily added to the input wiring.

Menno, Changing the circuit for balanced outputs, can that be done with the supplied pcb's? Or does it require changed pcb's? Thanks Daan

I have build 2 of Menno's MosFet amps, connected to my Aerius electrostats. They sound very good. Very transparent and exact placement of the stereo image. For this money you won't find a better MosFet kit on the market, that's for sure. Also, Menno's combination of digital and analog technics in his signaldetection and protection circuits are vey clever designs. Compliments.
